McClure Funeral Service, Inc., is one of the oldest and largest funeral homes in Alamance County, North Carolina. We are dedicated to honoring the dead while serving the living through the provision of excellent service in the funeral industry. Since 1907 our compassionate commitment has been the reason for our continued growth. It is our continued hope to provide the best of service here on our website, as we offer you the opportunity to view the current Obituaries and Funerals of the families that we are so privileged to serve. Electronically you may sign a current guest book and send condolence messages to the families. We would be honored to print and forward your best wishes and condolences to the family.
From advance planning for the inevitable, to current at-need services during an emotionally difficult time, and to include bereavement counseling for those who are grieving, it is our privilege to comfort and care for families in need. Our Personal Planning Guide - A Guide to Funeral Planning is now available and free of charge. This 16-page guide is clear, concise and easy to complete. Designed for the surviving families, as well as both couples and single persons, the booklet begins with a brief message to loved ones and continues with a vital statistics section. It will ask for valuable information including armed forces information, such as location of military discharge papers and service serial number to make final planing less complicated. Other sections include a Personal Wishes section, where you can be very specific about your own desires and how you want them to be carried out. There is also a section outlining where personal papers, documents and insurance information can be found. A section dedicated to questions frequently asked, such as how do I make a will, preservation of your will and probating your will. The guild is free just simply write or come by and we would be glad to give you a copy. We are here to serve.
