Donna Carden Thompson

Aug. 1, 1960 - May. 30, 2012

MEBANE - On May 30, 2012, the Lord called His Angel, Donna Carden Thompson, back to heaven.
Donna was very active in her family. Providing care for her parents came natural to her as family always came first. She was a devoted wife and loving mother but most of all, she was a friend, someone you could count on.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Steve Thompson; parents, Anne Foster Carden and William "Bill" Linwood Carden; daughter, Beth Thompson; stepchildren, Kandice and Korey Thompson; sisters, Beckye Carden and Suzanne Moon; brother, William "Billy" Linwood Carden Jr.; grandchildren, Harlee, Sissy, Zaza and Chyna and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hazel and Bertelle Foster and Dexter and Myrtle Carden.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday at McClure Funeral Service in Mebane.
Funeral services will be held in the McClure Chapel on Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Curtis Oakley officiating. Burial will follow at Mebane Memorial Gardens.

  Dear  Anne and Bill, I am so sorry to hear of Donnas passing away, The Lord has a reason  for all things,it/s just so very hard to understand when this happens.  May you know that you, Bill, Beth , Steve and all the family are truly in our thoughts and prayers.
