BURLINGTON - Richard Floyd Adcock, 69, passed away at the Hospice Home on Saturday, July 7, 2012. He was born on Feb. 3, 1943 in Huntsville, Ala. to the late Floyd Haskell Adcock and Dorothy Evelyn Priest Adcock. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama.
Survivors include daughters, Shannon Leigh Adcock of Burlington and Elizabeth Leigh (Chris) Hutchinson of Hazel Green, Ala; sons, Richard Blake Adcock of Asheville, N.C.; four grandchildren, Ethan Adcock of Asheville, Kayla, Cassidy and Callahan Hutchinson, all of Hazel Green, Ala., and a favorite aunt, Earline Garcia.
The family will receive friends at the home of Shannon Adcock, 403 Engleman Ave., Burlington, from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 12.
