Charlie Wayne Coggins

MEBANE, N.C. - Charlie Wayne Coggins, 65, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sept. 3, 2012.
Charlie was the loving husband of 45 years to Linda Swaney Coggins. He always enjoyed helping people and never met a stranger. He loved driving tractor trailers and was retired from the ABSS as a mechanic.
In addition to his wife, Charlie is survived by his mother, Irene Davis White (John); son, Michael Dean Coggins Sr.; grandchildren, Michael Dean Coggins Jr. and Macy Bree Coggins; brother, Eddie Dean Coggins (Shirley); sister, Anita Bunton (Doug); and his best friend, Danny Strickland (Elaine).
He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Coggins.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Burlington Assembly of God with Pastor Howard Thompson and Pastor John Thrift officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice at the Meadowlands, 1001 Corporate Drive, Hillsborough, NC 27278
