REIDSVILLE - Mr. John Roland Rudisill, 60, of 148 York Court, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at 2:19 p.m. at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
He was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Greensboro and a loving husband, grandfather, brother and friend. He was an avid builder; working with wood was his passion. His favorite show was "This Old House" which he watched every chance he could. He enjoyed gardening and cooking fresh vegetables from his garden. Bowman of Mebane, Tanya R. McManus and husband Ron of Mebane; brothers, Martin H. Rudisill and wife Jan of Burlington and Michael E. Rudisill and wife Marty of High Point; and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael E. Rudisill Sr. and Theo Frazier Rudisill; and a sister, Frazier R. Saylor.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2012 at the West Burlington Church of God with the Rev. Olin Tatum. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

As we take our journey throu this life, death is our final stop. Of course we are over come with greif.  Even the perfect man, Jesus Christ, \\\"Gave way to tears.\\\" So greatly greived over the death of his frend, Lazarous.(John 11:35) Jesus said \\\"I am the resurrection & the life.\\\" (John 11:25) What a wonderful gift we have been givin, to have the hope of seening our loved ones  once again.
