William Peter "Pete" Cox

Feb. 16, 1938 - Sept. 15, 2012

SNOW CAMP - William Peter "Pete" Cox of Jim Pickett Road, Snow Camp, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sept. 15, 2012.
Pete served with the Snow Camp Fire Dept. as a volunteer and attended Rock Creek United Methodist Church. He was a devoted family man and his grandchildren were his greatest loves.
He is survived by his son, Barry Cox (Amye); grandchildren, Tyler Cox, Erin Cox, Christian Cox and Lindsey Cox; brother, Billy Cox; sisters, Doris Kittel (David), Yvonne McPherson (Herbert), Carolyn Sloan (Donald), Judy Ritter (Randall) and Annette Farthing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mary Cox; as well as his wife, Barbara Cox; and his sister, Deloris Cox.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday at McClure in Graham and at other times at Pete's house.
Funeral services will be in the McClure Funeral Service Chapel on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park

    As we take our journey throu this life, death is our final stop. Of course we are over come with greif.  Even the perfect man, Jesus Christ, \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"Gave way to tears.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" So greatly greived over the death of his frend, Lazarous.(John 11:35) Jesus said \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"I am the resurrection & the life.\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" (John 11:25) What a wonderful gift we have been givin, to have the hope of seening our loved ones  once again.
