Mr. Clyde Dalton Hunley

MEBANE, N.C. - Mr. Clyde Dalton Hunley, 82, of 5217 U.S. Hwy. 70, died Sept. 17, 2012 at Hospice of the Meadowlands, Hillsborough, N.C.
A native of Orange County, N.C., Mr. Hunley was retired from General Electric and was a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church.
Survivors include daughter, Donna Hunley Travis (Jimmy) of Efland, N.C.; son, Gary Clyde Hunley (Peggy) of Hillsborough, N.C.; grandchildren, Angela Easter, Amanda Travis, Katie Travis, Charles Barry Compton and Charles Thomas Compton; great-grandchildren, Amber Easter, Mason Compton and Tyler Compton.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Berry Hunley; son, Darrell Timothy Hunley; and parents, Dalton and Mary Hunley.
The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane from 6 until 8 Tuesday evening and at other times at the residence.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012 at Lebanon United Methodist Church by the Rev. Drew Willis, Pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Meadowlands, 1001 Corporate Drive, Hillsborough, NC 27278.

    As we take our journey throu this life, death is our final stop.
