Charles Coleman Robbins

Jun. 25, 1947 - Sept. 17, 2012

Charles Coleman Robbins departed from his earthly home on Monday, September 17, 2012 to join his many loved ones in his heavenly home. Awaiting to escort him home was his daughter, Velvet Louise Robbins and granddaughter, Tiffany Cheyenne Kuplent.
Charles was a decorated officer in the U.S. Army serving during Vietnam from 1968 to1970. He had a very strong work ethic and believed a man was only as good as his word, two things he instilled in his children whom he loved dearly.
He was blessed with three sons, Chad Robbins of Graham, Adam Robbins of Danville, Va. and Josh Robbins of Graham; two daughters, Jamie Kuplent (Ira) and Tina Thurman (Ronald). He was the grandfather of eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Marilyn Koker (Jerry), Sandy Tusin, Mildred Robbins (deceased), Carl Robbins, Clarence Robbins (Carolyn) and Larry Robbins (Barbara); and a very special friend throughout life, Vickey Robbins.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the McClure Chapel in Graham. The family will receive friends one hour prior the service and other times at the home of Jamie Kuplent.
Burial will follow with military honors at Alamance Memorial Park.
