BURLINGTON - Mr. Clarence H. Terrell, 80, passed away peacefully on Sept. 18, 2012 at the White Oak Manor of Burlington after a brief illness.
He is survived by a daughter, Wanda Rice; five stepchildren; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Marguerite Delores Terrell; daughter, Gail L. Terrell; brothers, Victor Terrell, Raymond Terrell Sr.; and sister, Thelma Roney.
The family will receive friends at Kerrs Baptist Church, 2890 Kerrs Chapel Road, Elon, N.C. on Saturday Sept. 22, 2012 from 1 until 2 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Officiating will be the Rev. Norman Harris, Pastor. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care of Burlington, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
The body will remain at McClure Funeral Home of Graham, where public viewing will begin at noon Friday.

Wanda, we are so sorry to hear of Uncle Buddy's passing. We have fond memories of him telling us jokes and "getting our noses" as kids! He and Delores could really make us belly laugh - we are at peace knowing they are in heaven laughing together now.
