Mr. Calvin Atkerson Holsonback
He was retired from Burlington Industries, a member of Carolina Christian Church where he sang in the choir for many years, and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Eva Mae Councilman Holsonback, of the home; sons, Timothy Holsonback and wife Jill of Arizona and Kip Holsonback and wife Rhonda of Burlington; four grandchildren, Heidi, Kalin, Addison and Elise; sister, Jo Ann Latham and husband Leonard of Graham; and brother, Jack Holsonback and wife Sylvia of Burlington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Lilly Mae Roberts Holsonback; and sisters, Mary Cook, Roberta Douglas, Edna Thompson and Nan Perreira.
The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham on Thursday evening from 6 until 8 and at other times at the residence. The public viewing will begin at noon on Thursday.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012 at Carolina Christian Church by the Rev. Mark Mitchell, Pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations being made to the building fund at Carolina Christian Church, 2030 Carolina Road, Burlington, NC 27217.

Even the perfect man, Jesus Christ,
