Etta Mae Beale

Etta Mae Beale, 77, of Graham passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019 at the Presbyterian Home of Hawfields. She was born in Alamance County to Garland Leroy Beale, Sr. and Minnie Mae Sheffield Beale both deceased. Etta was retired from the textile industry and was a member of Swepsonville United Methodist Church.

Etta was a loving mother, grandmother and sister to her son, Anthony Eugene Beale and his wife Angela of Graham. Grandchildren; Kimberly Beale and Amanda Mullis Garrett. Sister; Becky Ann Beale of Swepsonville and brother; Garland Leroy Beale, Jr. of Burlington. In addition to her parents Etta is preceded in death by her sister; Rosa Lee Bennett and a half brother; Charles Bristow.

A Celebration of Etta’s life will be held Friday, July 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Officiating will be Pastor Ken Smith. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday evening. Other times they will be at the residence of Anthony and Angela Beale, 3120 S NC 87, Graham NC.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staffs at Hospice and Presbyterian Home of Hawfields for their compassionate care during Etta’s illness.
