Ms. Flora Elizabeth Wilson, 86, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Alamance County, NC, passed away on Tuesday January 15, 2019 at the Earl Hadlow Center in Jacksonville, FL. A native of Alamance County, NC, she was the daughter of the late A.B. and Connie Riley Wilson. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and she loved the Lord with all her heart. Family was the most important to Ms. Wilson and she instilled thankfulness and giving in her children. She was known for always putting others above herself and loved nothing more than to see a smile on people’s faces. Survivors include her daughters, Joni Whisman and husband Jim and Toni Phillips; sons, Carvin A. Lambert, Joseph W. Lambert and John Browning and wife Deborah; her many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and her great great grandchild; her loving 4 sisters and a brother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Lambert and a son, Thomas B. Lambert. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday January 19, 2019 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Friday January 18, 2019 at McClure in Graham. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Hospice at the Earl Hadlow Center at 4266 Sunbeam Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32257.
