Mrs. Hallie Adelle Moore Qualls, 88 of Burlington passed away Friday December 20, 2019 at the home she and her late husband Ray built together in 1951. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late William Arnold and Josie Lee Cook Moore. Adelle is survived by her 2 children, Marshall Moore Qualls and partner Scott, of Burlington and Karen Qualls Dixon and Husband Kenneth, of Graham; her loving grandchildren, Justin Dixon and wife Caitlyn, of Mebane and Adam Dixon, of Burlington; great grandchildren, Livingston Donnelly Dixon and Everette Qualls Dixon; a loving sister, Vivian Moore Perry, of Graham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Anne Maie Webster, Beatrice Cook, Hazel Hargis and Ollie Ruth Boswell; and her brothers, Lexie Lee, RA “Bob”, Jack and Walker Moore. Adelle was a LabCorp retiree and was a master seamstress. She loved to sew, read and spend time with her family especially her grandsons and great grandchildren. She made her home with her son Marshall for 41 years. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday December 24, 2019 at Bethany Presbyterian Church with the Pastor Norman Whitney and John W. Johnson officiating. A private burial will follow the service in Graham. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
