Jimmie Roger Walker

Jimmie Roger Walker Sr., 71, of Snow Camp passed away on Monday February 4, 2019 at his residence. Jimmie was born in Alamance County, NC to the late Willie and Hulda Walker. He Served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam war. He loved his family, and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jimmie was an avid outdoorsman, and loved to fish, play softball, play golf, and shoot a game of pool.

Jimmie is survived by his loving wife; Mary Walker, His Children; Jimmie Walker Jr. (Ronda), David Walker, Angela Connor (Ronald), and Misty Mize. Grandchildren; Ronald Conner III “Trey” (Charlotte), Kathryn Vazquez (Jose), Samantha Boggs (Michael), Jimmie Walker III (Kristina), Jacob Conner (Caitlyn), Lezlee Walker, John Mize, and Jesse Mize. Great grandchildren; Preston Conner, Karleigh Vazquez, Luke Boggs, Colton Boggs, Lane Walker, and Olivia Conner. Sister; Linda Britt (Jerome). Other than his parents he is also preceded in death by 9 brothers and sisters, and one Great Granddaughter; Ayvah Boggs.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 7, 2019 from 5 - 7 pm at the McClure funeral home in Graham. A Graveside service will be held on Friday February 8, 2019 at the Walker Whitacre Cemetery in Snow Camp at 2 pm.
