Mrs. Juanita Talley Grizzle of Mebane went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday October 30, 2018. Born in Clarksville, VA on February 16, 1935 to the late Noel J. Talley and Fannie G. Talley. “Maw Maw” never met a stranger. She enjoyed rooting for her Blue Devils and cheering on her Grandbabies on and off the softball field. She retired from Cone Mills of Haw River after 26 years of service, then on to volunteering as a “Pink Lady” at ARMC for over 10 years. She was a proud member of Edgewood Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Karen Smith, of Mebane and two step children, Ralph and Liza Grizzle; grandchildren, Heather Hall (Kyle), Dustin Wiles, Jeremy Oldham, Jordan Robinson (Will), Alex Grizzle, and Britton Frost; great grandchildren, Alivia and Emilee Hall, Ava and Karah Byrd, and Ezra Robinson; brother, Lawrence Talley (Cornellia); sister, Elizabeth “Sally” Talley; numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend, Linda King (Dave). In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, E. Frank Grizzle; brothers, Gravitte, E. Macon, Roy and Lloyd Talley; sisters, Hazel Bowman, Joy Jeffreys, and Lucille Thomas along with several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday November 4, 2018 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane with the Pastor Rick Webster officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 PM prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home and other times at the residence of Juanita.
