Kenneth Ray Parker

Kenneth Ray Parker, 88, of Elon passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at his residence.

 He was born in Guilford County to George Quincy and Nobie Hubbard Parker both deceased. Kenneth was the retired owner of the Parker and Associates Insurance Agency. He was a member of Haw River Baptist Church where he formerly served as a deacon. He was also a veteran of the US Army.

Kenneth is survived by his children; Kenneth Bruce Parker of Graham, David W. Parker (Debbie) of Elon, and Jonathan Parker (Kristi) of Gibsonville. Grandchildren; Jennifer P. Harrington, Jeffrey Parker, Ty Z. Parker, Sara Beth Parker. Four Great Grandchildren.

Other than his parents Kenneth is preceded in death by his wife; Vivian Langston Parker, seven brothers, three sisters.

A funeral service is planned for Friday, June 14, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Officiating will be Reverend Jonathan Jenkins. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the service. Other times they will be at the residence.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Haw River Baptist Church, 508 E. Main St., Haw River, NC 27258 or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance/ Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
