Marilyn Tate Wells Thomas
Marilyn Tate Wells Thomas, 74, of Mebane, NC, went home to be with the Lord on June 8, 2019 while at her home surrounded by her family after a long illness. Marilyn was a member of Cross Roads Presbyterian Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She enjoyed all things crafty, including quilting, sewing, and baking. She is survived by her loving daughters, Angela Shernock (Shane) and Caroline Willetts (David); four grandchildren, Jordan, K.J., and Sunshine Hayes, and Rebekah Willetts; as well as four great grandchildren. Brothers, James Wells (Barbara), Mike Wells (Nancy), and sister, Debra Wells-Thayer (Gary). Aunt, Betty Rader (Charles) of Alta Vista, VA. And a large extended family.
A memorial service for Marilyn will be held Friday, June 14, 2019 at Cross Roads Presbyterian Church, 3302 NC Hwy 119 North, Mebane NC, 27302. A visitation will be held prior to the service at 11 AM. The service will follow the visitation at 12 PM. Reverend Willie Teague will be officiating.
