Merritt Warren Hodgdon

Merritt Warren Hodgdon, 72, of Mebane, formally of North Adams, Mass., passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019 at his residence in the arms of his wife Joanne.  Merritt was born in Bennington, Vermont to Albert Henry and Gilberte Rene Lavigne Hodgdon both deceased. He retired as a plastics manufacturing engineer and was of the Catholic faith. Merritt served his country in the US Army.

Merritt is survived by his wife: Joanne Daub Hodgdon, Home. Children: Scott Merritt Hodgdon, Raleigh and Travis Christopher Hodgdon, Oregon. Granddaughter: Ellie Hodgdon. Siblings: Melissa Darling (Andy), Maynard “Ken” Hodgdon (Anita), Linda Hodgdon Pelczynski (Frank), and Pamela Eberth (Bob). Also many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a infant son: Charles Merritt Hodgdon. Brother: Louis Hodgdon.

A memorial reception will be Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the Mill Creek Country Club Club House starting at 6:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va.
