Ophelia Evans Obituary

Ophelia Holt Evans, 82, of Mebane passed away November 8, 2019 following a short illness.

Born May 11,1937 in Alamance County Ophelia was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. CD Holt of Mebane. Ophelia was a wonderful and fun loving person who loved spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoyed spending time with her customers from years of working in Banking in Mebane.

Survivors include her daughter Lynn Evans Phillips of Greensboro, son and daughter-in-law Gene and Katy Evans of Treasure Island Florida, brother and sister-in-law CJ and Shirley Holt of Tennessee, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Weldon and Susan Evans of Hilton Head South Carolina and nieces Aly and Natalie Evans of Georgia and Arizona.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Mt. Zion Christian Church by Pastor Rick Webster.
