Roy Furr III Obituary

Mr. Roy Millard Furr III, 40, of Graham, passed away on Friday November 23, 2018. A native of Alamance County, NC, he is the son of Roy M. Jr. and Ann Stanley Furr. Roy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend to many. He was known for his kind heart, always putting others above himself. Roy loved to spend time in Sneads Ferry, NC where he loved to fish and spend time in the salty air. In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife of 20 years, Rhonda Pierce Furr; his children, Eva Furr, Stephanie Roten, Taylor Batten, Troy Furr and Brandon Furr; grandsons, Devin Leggitt, Bentley Hamm and Colby Alexander; brothers, Kevin Furr and Larry Majors (Janet); a special nephew, Kaden Furr. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Strickland and Wanda Neely. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday December 1, 2018 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with the Pastor Amanda Harper officiating. The family will receive friends following the service on Saturday at the funeral home and other times at the residence of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to assist the Furr Family.
