Russell Hadley Obituary

Russell Braxton Hadley, 77, of Snow Camp, NC passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at Twin Lakes. Russell was born in Alamance County. He was a retired truck driver and farmer. Russell was a lifelong, very active member of South Fork Friends Church where he served as an Elder, choir member, and a cemetery trustee.

Russell is survived by his children; Cathy Hadley Neal of Burlington and Michael Hadley of Snow Camp. Grandchildren; Jordan Hadley, Logan Hadley, Gracie Hadley, Olivia Neal, Chloe Neal. Great Grandchildren; Sophie Fox and Lilly Hadley. Sister; Phylis Hadley Wilson.

He was preceded in death by; wife; Peggy Cheek Hadley.  Parents; William Franklin Hadley and Myrtis Braxton Hadley. Sisters; Vera Lamb and Evelyn McKinney. Brothers; C.L. Hadley and Herman Hadley.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at South Fork Friends Church. Officiating will be Reverend Andrew Needham. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday evening. Other times they will be at the residence.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to South Fork Friends Church, 359 South Fork-Bethel Rd., Snow Camp, NC 27349.
