Thomas Momann "Pete" Hanks, 67, of Graham died Thursday, September 26, 2019 at the VA Medical Center in Durham. He was a native of Danville Virginia, retired from Dixie Yarns and a US Army Veteran during Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents, Freddy Jackson & Virginia Crider Hanks; sisters, Kay Neal, Marie Neal & Shirley Cook; brothers, James Hanks & Freddie Hanks
He is survived by his wife, Laura Gross Hanks of the home; daughters, Crystal Martinez-Ramos(David) of Graham, Shelia Deaton(Danny) of Snow Camp; step daughter, Becca James(Laura) of Kennesaw, GA; step son, Joshua Bodeen of Chapel Hill; brother, Frank Hanks(Alice) of Burlington; grandchildren Jerrold Martinez-Ramos, David Martinez-Ramos, Jr., Patrick Martinez-Ramos, Tony Martinez-Ramos & Christopher James Deaton; many nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate his life will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by Pastor Dave Winstead. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
