Trevor Alexander Obituary

Mr. Trevor James Alexander, 54, of Mebane, NC, passed away on Tuesday January 15, 2019 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill. A native of Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Prosper James Alexander and Amy Stewart Ladson. Trevor was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, and friend to many. He loved the New York Yankees and the New York Giants. Trevor was a man devoted to his community; being a Rec. Baseball Coach for Mebane Athletics, former HOA President of his development, and was instrumental with having a playground built for the children at Fieldstone Farms Development. He had been employed with the City of Carrboro prior to retiring. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Wallace Alexander; his children, Tampa Denise Alexander and Prosper James Alexander; his sisters, Pamela Lewis and husband Dorsey, Cheryl Alexander, Donna Alexander; brothers, Tarik Alexander and Che Alexander and wife Abena, and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Francine A. Watson. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday January 23, 2019 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane with the Pastor Florissa Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Mebane Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Tuesday January 22, 2019 at McClure in Mebane and other times at the residence of the family.
