Ester Pajaron Peoples, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2024, at the age of 76. Born on May 24, 1948, Ester's life was a testament to the power of kindness, humor, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones.
Ester's legacy is carried on by her devoted husband, Randy Peoples, her loving children, son Darrell Leazer and daughter Deanna Page (Matthew), and her cherished granddaughter, Emma Page. Each of them reflects a piece of her generous spirit and carries forward the lessons of compassion and laughter she instilled in them.
For many years, Ester was a familiar and friendly face within the cafeteria of the Rowan County school system, where she not only served meals but also offered a listening ear and words of encouragement to countless students and staff. Her involvement in the community extended beyond her professional life, as she actively participated in various associations, always eager to lend a hand or share her wisdom.
She found joy in cooking, an activity through which she expressed her love for her family and friends. Her sense of humor was infectious, and she had an unparalleled talent for telling jokes that could lighten any room. Ester was also an avid board game enthusiast, relishing the opportunity to gather her family for an evening of fun and togetherness.
A funeral service will be held on Monday October 7, 2024 at 3pm in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Mebane. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
