Mrs. Eula Long Black, 91, of Graham, NC, passed away on Saturday July 21, 2018 at her residence. A native of Alamance County, NC, she was the daughter of the late W.H. and Lydia Lashley Long. Eula was a proud charter member of Harvest Baptist Church where she loved her Church and Church family. She was very active in her church and community always putting others above herself. Eula always enjoyed her trips with the Senior Adult Sunday School Class. Most importantly she was a devoted and loving Wife, Mother, Maw-Maw, and Aunt Eula to all of her family and friends. Survivors include her loving son, Pastor Larry Lamberth and wife Belinda, of Whitsett; her grandchildren, Heidi Lamberth Nickerson and Heather L. Clever and husband Tim, both of Whitsett; the apple of her eye, her great grandchildren, Bella, Riley and Noah; sister, Ann Underwood and husband Eddie, of Burlington; brothers, David Long and wife Patsy, of Burlington, Jerry Long and wife Jean, of Gibsonville and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, E. Caldwell Black; sisters, Dorothy Younger, Mary Frances Rich, Jean Clapp, and Louise Moore and her brothers, Hester, Roy and Earl Long. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday July 23, 2018 at the Harvest Baptist Church with her son, Pastor Larry Lamberth and Pastor Dave Winstead officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 PM on Sunday at Harvest Baptist Church and other times at the residence of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harvest Baptist Church at 3741 South Church Street Burlington, NC 27215.
