Nancy Braxton Lee

Nancy Braxton Lee, 82, of Mebane, NC passed away on June 2, 2024 at her residence. A native of Alamance Co. NC, she was the daughter of the late E.A. Braxton Jr. and Rae Boney Braxton and was the wife of 65 to her high school sweetheart, Larry Marvin Lee. Nancy practiced Psychology in New Mexico for 42 years in the field of Childhood and family needs. She and her late husband Larry moved back home to Mebane to spend their later years but had the opportunity to travel to over 100 countries and making a second home in the Daytona Beach area in Florida. Traveling is what made her and Larry the happiest. Survivors include her loving son, John G. Lee and wife Nancy; her grandchildren, Jenna Lee, Lauren Johnson and Tanner Johnson; great grandchildren, Clair and Nora Johnson; her brother, William E. “Billy” Braxton and wife Pam; half-brother, Mark L. Braxton; a special niece, Patricia B. Davis and husband Todd, and many other loving family members. With the wishes of Mrs. Lee there will be no services held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AuthoraCare Hospice at 918 Chapel Hill Rd. Burlington, NC 27215. McClure Funeral Service in Mebane is assisting the family.
