Tanya Montana Poole, 32, a cherished mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 32. Born on November 5, 1992, in Montgomery County, NC, Tanya grew up to be a vibrant and loving individual who touched the lives of all who knew her. She departed this world in Alamance County, NC, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and dedication. Tanya was the beloved mother of three wonderful children, Braiden, Levi, and Kinsleigh, who were the center of her universe. Her love for them knew no bounds, and she instilled in them the values of kindness, generosity, and joy. Tanya's mother, Rene Dickens, and her father and stepmother, Tim and Susan Poole, remember her as a beacon of light in their lives. Her siblings, Heather Phillips and her husband Calvin, Dylan Poole, Timmy Poole, and Ashley Poplin, along with her step-sister Kristi Greene, will forever cherish the memories of their times together. Tanya's grandmother and step-grandfather, Brenda and Dwight Brown, also survive her, as do her adored nephews and nieces, Garrett, Shea, and Sadie. She was preceded in death by her Aunt Tammy Lamonds, who held a special place in her heart. Tanya's professional life was marked by her dedication and hard work. She was a valued employee at Sheetz, where her colleagues respected her for her commitment and cheerful disposition. Prior to joining Sheetz, she contributed her talents to Hursey's BBQ, where her presence was equally appreciated.
Beyond her work, Tanya was known for her creative spirit and her love for crafts. She found joy in making t-shirts, cups, and various gifts, pouring her heart into each creation to bring happiness to others. Her handmade gifts were not just items but tokens of her affection, often personalized to bring a smile to the recipient's face. Tanya's love for the beach was another defining aspect of her life. The tranquility of the ocean and the warmth of the sun provided her with a sense of peace and a place to recharge. Tanya's life was a testament to the power of love, the beauty of creativity, and the importance of family. Her infectious laughter and the warmth of her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Tanya's spirit will continue to live on through her children, her family, and the countless lives she touched with her kindness and generosity. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday August 26, 2025 at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM Until 2:00 PM on Tuesday prior to the graveside service at McClure Funeral Home in Graham, and other times at the residence of her sister, Heather in Haw River.
