Life is hard. It’s a beautiful, treasured gift; but it’s hard. It’s filled with mountains and valleys, joys and heartbreak. They say it comes in equal measure but I’m not sure that’s true. Sometimes it feels like there are more dark clouds than sunshine. Adrianna, I imagine, felt the same way.
Adrianna May LeBlanc passed away on June 10th, 2025. She was a beloved daughter, sister, friend, and most importantly, a devoted mother and Grammy. It is no secret Adrianna’s life was plagued with struggle, claimed by addiction at an early age. The stronghold it had over her life is something only those who have dealt with it can understand. The demon of addiction is relentless in its pursuit and for a long time Adrianna was a slave. But if there is one thing more powerful than addiction, it was the power of Adrianna’s mind and her desire to be clean, her desire to have the life she dreamed of. And she did just that.
Adrianna turned her life around. Relationships that had been broken were restored, bonds with her family and her children mended, friendships renewed, and new ones formed, and love found. When it comes to love, there is none stronger than the love she had for her children. They were her sunshine of her darkest days.
That was one of the many things to admire about Adrianna. Her fighting spirit. Oftentimes when faced with hardship, we as humans lose our hope, our faith. We put down our swords and surrender. And even though there were times she felt the weight of the world, she did not give up. She did not relent. Adrianna kept going, she forged through fire, but it did not take her joy, it did not take her smile that could light up a room, it did not take her boisterous, contagious laugh, or her ability to encourage, support, and love those around her.
Adrianna was smart, innovative, fun to be around, always had a joke; she was generous, kind, someone you were lucky to have in your corner, and someone who loved people. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, would give someone the shirt off her back, and loved carpentry and building and creating things with her hands.
Adrianna was preceded in death by her brother Tommy LeBlanc (TommyBoy) and is survived by her children Madison, Teagan, Jeremy and Ava, her parents Linda and Mark Crabtree, her granddaughter Melodie, her four sisters, April Teixeira and family, Autumn Tillman and family, Toni Crabtree and family and Alyssa Crabtree and family, several nieces, nephews, and her best friend Heather Brown and family.
She will be missed dearly by all who loved her.
