A.G. Tuttle Jr.

GRAHAM - Mr. A.G. Tuttle Jr., 93, went to his heavenly home Feb. 4, 2014, at Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell. A.G. served in the Navy from 1939 to 1945. After retiring, at the age of 57, from Western Electric, he enjoyed his retirement years woodworking and traveling. He was a member of Andrews Memorial Church for over 60 years.He is survived by daughters, Dianne Hill and Connie Corter and husband James; sons, Ronald Tuttle and David Tuttle and wife Polly; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and special friend, Eva Vincent.He was preceded in death by his parents, Adger Tuttle Sr. and Daisy R. Hedgepeth; loving wife of 59 years, Louise Tuttle; and three brothers.The family will receive friends Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at McClure Funeral Service in Graham, 1030 S. Main St., Graham, N.C. 27253. A service will be conducted Friday, Feb. 7, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Eugene Hancock Memorial Chapel of Andrews Memorial Baptist Church, 303 W. Elm St., Graham, N.C. 27253, by Dr. Tommy Willis. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
