Aileen Westbrook

Aileen Edgerton Westbrook, 91, of Burlington, NC passed away Saturday January 27, 2018 at ARMC surrounded by her family. Aileen was born July 6, 1926 in Pikeville, NC to Emmett D. Edgerton and Addie Roberts Edgerton. Aileen lived and worked in Goldsboro, NC until moving to Burlington, NC. Aileen worked at Roses Cum Park Plaza until her retirement after 20 years, later at UNC Student Stores for her beloved Tar Heels. Aileen is survived by her daughter Cheryl Wolfe (Jimmy), son; Glenn Westbrook (Christina) Rose Morris Fleming, grandchildren; Kim Hughes (Shawn), Robbie Brigman (Hope), Micah Brigman, Sheri Gray (Burnice), Travis Wolfe (Marty), Tonya Tubbs, Tanya Westbrook (Margaret), Kristen Stubbs (Scott), Paige Westbrook, 16 gtreat grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Sisters; Debbie Hare of Goldsboro, Phyliss Bass (Ray) of Pikeville, brothers; Emmett Edgerton Jr. (Helen) of Princeton, Joe Edgerton (Brenda) of Princeton and Tim Edgerton of Princeton, a God son Terry Ray and special cousins. Aileen was preceded in death by her parents Emmett D. Edgerton and Addie Roberts Edgerton, sisters; Alese Edgerton Laidlaw, Mary Edgerton, stepmother; Hilda Edgerton and a great grandson Kaleb Brigman. The family will receive friends from 6-8 on Wednesday January 31, 2018 at McClure Funeral and Cremation Service in Graham. A funeral service will be held at 11am Thursday February 1, 2018 in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Princeton, NC.
