Alexandria Rayann Taylor

Alexandria Rayann Taylor (Alex), 17, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 2, 2025. Alex was born on May 11, 2007, in Durham County and is a native of Alamance County. Alex was a senior at Southern Alamance High School. She was an active volunteer with her youth group, Equestrian Special Olympics as a youth coach, she had a heart to help the homeless. She was active in Boy Scouts and a volunteer at Kooper Top Life Learning Center. Alex was planning to enlist in the Coast Guard after graduation.

She leaves behind her Father, Bobby Taylor;  Mother, Kristy Taylor; a brother Toby Taylor; Maternal grandparents, Dean Wilson and Jo Ann (deceased); Paternal grandparents Otha Taylor and Benita Wray; Aunt Lori and Brian Brown; Uncle Todd Wilson and Vickey Dodson; Uncle “Ickey”; Uncle Kevin Taylor; and many cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held to honor her life on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane beginning at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the funeral home and other times at 402 N. Ninth St. Mebane, NC 27302.
