Mebane Alice Rebecca Scarlett Wilder, 54, of Mebane died Wednesday, June 15 at the Hospice Home in Burlington. She was a native of Alamance County, a primary care giver, a vet assistant at Westbrook Animal Hospital and attended Central Baptist Church in Mebane. She was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert Taft Scarlett, Jr. and brother, Gilbert Taft “G.T.” Scarlett, III. She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Keith Wilder of the home; son, Brian Keith Wilder and fiancé, Jacqueline Higgason of Timberlake; grandchildren, Alyssa Grace Wilder and Jocelyn Kay; mother, Freida Hobbs Scarlett of Greenville; Sisters; Sharon Kenny & husband John of Greenville and Teresa Scarlett and husband Dick of Greenville; * nieces, 6 nephews, 13 great nieces, 10 great nephews, 4 great great nieces and 4 great great nephews; 3 brothers in law and 3 sisters in law. A service to celebrate her life will be 2:00 PM Saturday at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane by Pastor Mike Faust. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 – 2:00 before the service.
