Allen Miller Bell

On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Allen Miller Bell passed away at the age of 73, with family by his side. Allen was born on December 19, 1950, in Morehead City, NC, raised on the Southeast Coast of Virginia, and later settled in Orange County, NC, in 1980, owning his own business as a landscaper.

He was the beloved husband of Joyce McKinney Bell and loving father to Laurie Bell, Heather Haas (Richard Haas), and Stephanie Latta (David Latta). Allen will be greatly missed by his grandchildren (Blake, Jackson, Logan, Andrew, and Courtney), great-grandchild (Ella), stepsons (Phillip (Stacy) and Bart), step-great-grandchildren (Maylene and Kyrie), sisters (Carol McCullough (Larry) and Jody Bell), and many nieces and nephews.

Allen has been reunited in heaven with his mom, Evelyn Mae Bell, and brothers, Donald, Joel, and Alfred (Buddy).

Throughout the years, Allen had many hobbies, including golfing, classic cars, and most recently, sharing his talent through karaoke with his amazing voice.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at McClure’s Funeral Home in Mebane, NC, with a graveside service to follow at 12:00 p.m. at the Haw River City Cemetery (508 Cemetery St., Haw River, NC).
