Allen Daniel Evans

Allen Daniel Evans, 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at home. He was born November 3, 1945 in Camden NJ. He grew up in Justus Pennsylvania and went to school at Lakeland High School.

Allen is survived by his loving and supporting wife of 58 years, Marsha Ruth Evans, and his two daughters Brynda Lynn Burns, husband Paul Burns of Mebane, NC. and Tammy Beth Lowe, husband Brent Lowe of New Cumberland, PA, Six grandchildren, Brandyn Burns, Taylor White, Victoria Lowe, Keegan Lowe, Olivia Lowe and Emma Lowe and three great grandchildren, Ava Cable-Burns, Cooper Burns and Charlotte White.

He was preceded in death by his parents Hayden and Evelyn Evans and brother (Buster) Hayden Evans.

Allen was a loyal and dedicated employee at Mactac for 48 years, during those years he enjoyed camping trips with family, attending his daughters sporting events and going to men's Bible studies. He is a member of Okatee Baptist Church. After retirement he enjoyed traveling, he and Marsha enjoyed their yearly short term mission trip serving as host and caregivers at the school and ministry center in Portugal where Tammy, Brent and family served as Missionaries. He loved his family and loved sharing stories about them.

A celebration service in honor of Allen will be held at Okatee Baptist Church, 5467 N. Okatie Highway, Ridgeland S.C 29936 on Saturday March 16th at 11:00 a.m.
