June 20, 1985 — August 27, 2020

Prospect Hill

Amber Lynn Edrington, 35, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 27, 2020, in Durham, North Carolina.  She was the daughter of Stephen Edrington, Prospect Hill, North Carolina and Darlene Enroth Kalmar, Isle of Palms, South Carolina.  In addition to her parents, Amber is survived by her 2 sons , Ethan Harold and Deacon Joshua, daughter Emmy Lynn, and paternal grandmother, Billie Fields Edrington.  She now lovingly joins her other grandparents, Harold & Evelyn Enroth and Delford Edrington, all who preceded her in death.
Born June 20, 1985 in Charlotte, NC, Amber was the only child of Stephen and Darlene.  She was also the first Enroth Family granddaughter and only grandchild for the Edrington Family.  Amber grew up in Goose Creek, South Carolina, moved with her family to Peachtree City, Georgia and attended McIntosh High School.  She returned to her North Carolina roots to attend Alamance Community College and bring three beautiful children into this world.
Amber's compassion touched everyone she encountered and always saw the best in people.  She had the kindest soul and heart as big as the moon.  Amber would not hesitate to literally "give the shirt off her back" to anyone in need.  Her deepest passions were her children and her friends.
A private family service to celebrate Amber's life will be held at a future date. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.mcclurefuneralservice.net
