Andrea Geggis Forsyth

Mrs. Andrea Geggis Forsyth, 46, of 803 South Fifth Street, Mebane, NC, passed away on Wednesday February 12, 2014 at her residence. She is the daughter of Catherine Leto, of Sarasota, Florida and the late Walter L. Geggis. She was born in Richmond, Virginia and spent most of her childhood in Maryland. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. She worked at Duke Regional Hospital as a sonographer for fifteen years of service. She was an avid lover of classic movies and television shows, especially I Love Lucy and she enjoyed spending time volunteering at her son’s school, Audrey-Garrett. Surviving is her husband, Jeffrey Michael Forsyth, of the home; son, Connor Michael Forsyth, of the home; step mother, Judith Geggis, of Centreville, Maryland; step sisters, Kimberly Cantrell, of Linwood, New Jersey, and Diane Posko and husband Michael, of Pasadena, Maryland. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a Step father, Peter Leto. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday March 1, 2014 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane with the Rev. Todd Martin officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service on Saturday at the McClure Funeral Home in Mebane at 1308 South Third Street, Mebane, NC 27302.
