Anna Bennett Rainey

Anna Bennett Rainey, 75, was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on Friday April 13th, 2018 with her family by her side. She was born November 22 ,1942 in Graham N.C. to Chalmers and Lenora Bennett. She was a graduate of Graham High School class of 1961 and attended Elon College. She married Dewey L. Rainey on September 10, 1966 in Graham. Anna enjoyed her family, friends and her quiet time with the Lord. She was an active member of The Lamb’s Chapel and a board member for Living Free Ministries in Snow Camp, NC. She was a member of the Choir and taught Women’s Fellowship for years.

She is survived by her husband, Dewey Rainey, her sons, Lee Rainey (Becka) and Ashley Rainey (Cheryl), her grandchildren, Chris (Jessi), Christian, McKinley, Madelyn, Evie, Nora, Ava & Joelle, great grandchildren Emery & Judah, her sister Janice B. Stutts and her many nephews, nieces, cousins.

The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral and Cremation Service in Mebane from 5pm till 7pm on Monday, April 16th. Celebration of her life will be Tuesday April 17th at the The Lambs Chapel (Haw River Campus) at 2pm.
