Annie Lee Moore

Mrs. Annie Lee Moore, 89, passed away on the morning of December 16, 2016 at the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell. She was born October 31, 1927 in Orange County. She worked in the hosiery mill for many years. After she left the mill she enjoyed crocheting and watching children at home. She was a loving, wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her daughters; Kathy Florence, Sylvia Price, Connie Moore and Hilda McCauley, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, siblings; Howard Kernodle and Mildred K. Carmichael. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Lonnie Moore, a daughter, Diann Hall, parents Robert Kernodle and Daisey Pickett Kernodle, siblings, Melvin Kernodle and Georgia Carmichael. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday December 19, 2016 in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Mebane. The family will receive friends from 1-2 on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Mt. Zion Christian Church Cemetery.
