Anthony "Tony" Wayne Locketz

Anthony Wayne (Tony) Locketz, 65, passed away on August 30, 2022.  Tony was a long-time resident of Haw River, NC.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Morris Locketz and Vivian Baker Locketz, and his sister, Angela Locketz Spoon.

He was retired from Alfab Metal Fabricators, Inc.  He was an avid fan of Duke football and basketball, and as well was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. His hobbies were listening to music, tinkering and riding motorcycles.

Tony was a gregarious and gentle man who made friends easily.  He is survived by his closest, lifelong friends:  Andy Andrews and Jimmy Rogers of Haw River.  He leaves behind many other loving friends and former coworkers who mourn his passing.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on September 25, 2022 at the Haw River Cemetery and will be officiated by the Rev. Walter Jones.

Tony was a big-hearted and generous man.  Therefore, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice, or to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease (CMT) Association.
