GRAHAM - Retired Master Sergeant Arthur Thomas Denny Jr., 76, died at 8:45 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2015, at the Hospice Home of Burlington. He was born in St. Paul, Va. and was retired from the United States Marine Corps with 24 years of honorable service. He is survived by his wife, Mary Stelock Denny; son, Christopher Denny and wife Ashleigh; grandchildren, Christopher Denny Jr. and Lana Denny; sister, Doris Ann Denny; sister-in-law, Anna Mease and husband Norman; special friend, Anna Mansfield and husband Fred; and a host of loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Thomas Denny Sr. and Nell Evelyn Hanks Denny; and brothers, Rhea Eddie Denny and Robert Lewis Denny. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015, in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel, Graham, officiated by Chaplain Rick Purcell, with the family receiving friends following the service. Burial, with full military honors, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2015, in the Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, VA 22172.
