Barbara Marie Keating

BURLINGTON - Barbara Keating, 75, passed away Oct. 22, 2015 at Duke University Medical Center. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Burlington. Survivors include her daughters, Colleen Stevens (Larry) of Haw River and Kel Hinkle (Steven) of Whitsett; son, Michael Keating of Auburn, NY; grandchildren, Emily, Matthew, Jay, Kelcian, Josh and Mary; sisters, Eileen O'Connor, Marin Shanley and Patricia Hicks; and a sister-in-law, Irene Hollins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Anthony Keating; and parents, Harold and Dorothy Burke Collins. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at McClure Funeral and Cremation Service in Graham. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, at Blessed Sacrament Church in Burlington. Interment will follow in Graham Memorial Park.
