It is with profound love and reverence that we celebrate the life of Beatrice McDaniel Neese, who peacefully departed this world on June 6, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on February 18, 1931, in Guilford County, North Carolina, Beatrice, fondly known as Bea, lived a life filled with unwaivering kindness, boundless love, and an extraordinary dedication to her family and community.
Beatrice was the cherished daughter of Everett and Annie McDaniel, and the beloved sister to ten siblings who preceded her in passing. Her formative years were spent in the warm embrace of family, a value she carried througout her life, enstilling it in her own children and grandchildren. On April 29, 1950, she married the love of her life, Dwight C. Neese, with whom she shared 53 extraordinary years. Together, they built a home brimmed with laughter, love, and five beautiful children. Their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership.
Beatrice’s life was marked by her impressive work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. She was a dedicated employee at Western Electric, Southern Bell, and AT&T. Her passion for baking, which began as a hobby, blossomed into a successful catering business, where she delighted in sharing her culinary creations at countless family gatherings and community events.
Her greatest joy, however, was found in serving others. Beatrice was known for her extraordinary capacity for love, patience, and selflesness. She found happiness in helping those around her, whether it was through her warm smile, a comforting meal, or quiet time working crossword puzzles or watching game shows. Her selfless nature was matched only by her keen mind and tireless spirit-rest was something she rarely surrendered to, always placing others’ needs before her own.
Beatrice leaves behind a legacy of love in her cherished family. She is survived by her devoted children: Diane Williams and her husband Mike; Doug Neese and his wife Jeanie; Artie Neese and his wife Laura; Duane Neese and his wife Lauren; and Angela Neese. She was the proud grandmother of Clint Williams; Jennifer Figueroa and her husband Jose; Jeffrey Neese; Julia Neese; Audrey and Hallie Neese; and Dallas, Ty, and Ben Carter. Her heart was further filled with joy by her great grandchildren: Caleb and Charlie Williams, Leo and Isabella Beatrice Figueroa.
Beatrice was preceded in death by her devoted husband Dwight, her infant daughter Susan, and her grandson Brandom Williams. Though they have gone before her, their spirits live on in the hearts of those who loved them.
A service to honor Beatrice’s life will be held on June 20, 2026, at 12:00pm at Phillips Chapel, located at 2362 Brucewood Road Haw River, NC 27258. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at AuthoraCare Hospice for their unwavering support and care during Bea’s final days.
Beatrice McDaniel Neese’s life was a symphony of kindess, love, and service. Though she will be dearly missed, her legacy will continue to inspire all who knew her. In the words of those who loved her, “Her love was unmatched, her heart a treasure.” May her soul rest in eternal peace.
