Bennie Nathaniel Whitmore, 57 , of Loganville, GA went home to be with our Heavenly Father on the afternoon of August 21, 2022. Bennie had been battling health issues for the past 3 years as well as being a caretaker for his 2nd wife Susan. Bennie was the youngest child of the late Clyde H Whitmore Sr and Nancy Jean Jeffries Whitmore. Born August 29,1964 in Norwalk , Connecticut, he graduated from Norwalk High School Class of 1983. After graduating high school, he embarked on many career paths including helping his father in his landscaping business and working in his brother Clyde’s cabinetry business. He also worked as a Purolator Courier, a contract worker for the United States Post Office as well as several other ventures that fit his adventurous life.
Bennie never met a stranger. He was the life of the party and his family knew that he would bring joy and laughter to any occasion.
His father Clyde H Whitmore Sr., his first wife Darlene Bradley Whitmore, and his second wife Susan Alexander Whitmore preceded him in death
Bennie is survived by his loving mother, Nancy Jean Whitmore of Norwalk , CT; three beloved siblings and their spouses: Rev. Clyde H. Whitmore Jr and wife Cindy of Haw River , NC; Denise Whitmore Jenkins and husband Raymond of Columbia, MD; Harold B. Whitmore and wife Darleen of Norwalk, CT; loving daughters Shaunté Renee Whitmore, Shaunee Marie Whitmore, Shauneece Shauntel Whitmore, Ashley Alexander and son in law Desmond; two loving sons Bennie Nathaniel Whitmore II & Khalil Bailey; and his four much loved grandchildren Kai and Titan Alexander, Navi Whitmore, and Brayson Bailey. He leaves behind a beloved extensive family that includes nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, cousins, family and friends.

A service will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the McClure Funeral Home in Mebane, beginning at 2pm. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service beginning at 1pm.
