Benny Wayne Deel

Mr. Benny Wayne Deel, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 18, 2016, at Moses Cone Hospital. He was of Baptist Faith. Benny was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all. He wanted to be everyone’s “grandpaw”. He is survived by his wife of 55 years: Mary Ann Deel; sons: Benny Lee Deel, David Deel & wife Pamela; granddaughters: Katelyn Deel & Karalyn Deel; brothers: Jim Deel & Beary Deel; 8 nieces and nephews; and a host of many special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: David and Gladys Deel; sister: Ann Deel Johnson; and sister-in-law: Nancy Deel. A service will be conducted on Saturday February 20th, 2016 at 6:00PM at McClure Funeral Chapel in Graham. Officiating will be Pastor Greg Cassiday. The family will receive friends from 4-6 prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence. Burial will take place on Monday February 22nd, 2016 at 2:00PM at Temple Hill Cemetery in Castlewood, VA.
