Betsy Ann Mcvey Ivey

GRAHAM - Mrs. Betsy Ann McVey Ivey, 78, of 3619 S. Mebane St., Burlington, died 5:20 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at the Hospice Home of Burlington. Born in Alamance County to the late Clarence and Mabel Thompson McVey, Betsy was the wife of the late Eddie "Buddy" Loy Ivey and mother to the late Teresa Ivey Copeland. She was a retired X-ray technician from Alamance Regional Medical Center and member of First Baptist Church of Graham.Survivors include a granddaughter, Brittany Copeland, and fiancé Tyler Christopher, of Alpharetta, Ga.; grandson, Matt Copeland, and wife Tiffany, of Dacula, Ga.; great-grandson Durham Copeland, of Dacula, Ga.; son-in-law, Mark Copeland, of Jefferson, Ga.; and a sister, Hilda Holt, of Graham.The family will receive friends at the McClure Funeral Home, 1030 S. Main St., Graham, NC 27253, Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at the First Baptist Church of Graham officiated by the Rev. Travis Russell. Burial will follow in the Graham Memorial Park.
