Betty B. Borror

Betty Jean Ball Borror, 88, of Mebane passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017. Betty was born to Rollin T. and Elizabeth Artrip Ball in Columbus, Ohio. Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Charles Borror. Betty and Charlie had lived in Mebane for the past ten years. Before moving to this area in 2006, post Hurricane Katrina, they were residents of New Orleans, LA for over 35 years. Betty was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed working in her garden and took great pride in her flowers. She was also a voracious reader and puzzle enthusiast. Betty will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Daughters: Georgia Manuel and Ginger Stallings. A son: Jerry Borror. Grandchildren: Delanie Manuel, Carrie Becker, David Stallings. Three Great Grandchildren: Phoebe Becker, Wyatt Stallings, Anthony Venturella. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Ball. A private service will be held at a later date.
