Betty Faye (Hanks) Rudd

Betty Faye Hanks Rudd, 86, passed away on October 17, 2021 after several years of declining health.  She was the daughter of the late Raleigh and Minnie Hanks.  She retired from Brown Wooten Hosiery Mill. Survivors include her daughters, Bessie Brooks (Steve) and Faye Andrews; 6 grandchildren, Melissa Holmes (Sammy), Chad Andrews (Colleen), Kristy Lashley (Jason), Tonia Cardwell (Mark), Chris Lunsford (Denise) and Cory Lunsford; 12 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and siblings, Bill, Polly, Frances, Carol and Alice. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Dewey Rudd. A graveside service will be held on Thursday October 21, 2021 at 2pm in Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Don Pegg officiating.
