Betty Lou (Medley) Lashley

Mrs. Betty Lou Medley Lashley 80, of Graham, NC passed away on March 17, 2022 at the Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington, NC. She was born in Guilford Co. NC to the late Robert Lee Sr. and Hallie Kendrick Medley. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Lee Lashley; her daughter, Julia Marie Staley and her son, James Dylan Lashley. Betty worked with Dixie Yarns for numerous years then retiring from Anderson Sterilization. She enjoyed coloring, watching her show Supernatural, working on her crossword puzzles, and she was an avid Nascar fan. But nothing put a smile on her face like her grandchildren and a fresh cold Pepsi. Survivors include her grandchildren, Kristi Gregory and husband Steven, Kory S. Lashley, Shannon Oxner and husband Aaron, and Cole Staley and fiancé Ashelynne Bracken; she was "Maw Maw Peppits" to her two great grandchildren , Isaiah and Harper Gregory; her loving brothers, Robert Lee Medley Jr. and Billy Wayne Medley and wife Melba; her son in law, Robert “Bob” Autrey. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 Pm on Wednesday March 23, 2022 at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham with the Pastor Chuck Perkins officiating. Entombment will follow alongside her husband in the Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home and other times at the residence of her granddaughter Kristi at 552 Snooks Court Haw River.
