Betty B. Watts

Mrs. Betty Lou Watts, 84, of Mebane passed away on Wednesday, January 2, 2019. She was born May 11, 1933 to the late Earnest and Fanny Byrd. In her free time she loved to read and knit. She was a loving mother, Grandmother, and wife. Whenever she wasn’t spending time with her family, she loved being on the water fishing. Survivors include her loving husband, Ted Watts; Her daughter, Cindi Rimmer; Granddaughter, Hannah White; Brother, Tony Byrd; and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Price. The family will receive friends on Friday January 4, 2019 from 5:00-7:00pm at McClure Funeral Service in Mebane. A funeral service will be held in her honor on Saturday January 5, 2019 at 2:00pm at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane, with a burial following at Alamance Memorial Park.
