Betty Jo Wilson Hill

Betty Jo Wilson Hill, 72, of Mebane, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at AuthoraCare Hospice Home in Burlington. Betty was born in Hillsborough, November 10, 1951 and attended Orange High School.  Betty loved to make crafts, play games, but most of all she loved anything Christmas.  Betty’s favorite TV channel was Hallmark.  She loved watching Christmas movies.  Betty will be remembered for her fun loving heart, her humorous  personality and the love for her family. Betty is survived by her loving husband, Timothy E. Hill of 40 years, daughters, Tammy Boggs (Nelson), Nicky Hatch (Ricky), and a bonus daughter, Brandy Wrenn (Richard); ten grandchildren, Whitney Turner, Samantha Hatch, Adam Hatch, Connor Hughes, Caleb Hughes, Jenny Wrenn, Emily Faulkner, Riley Wrenn, Richard Wrenn and Madelyn Wrenn;  seven great grandchildren, Nova Feuerschutz, Adasin Hatch, Gavin Hatch, Presley Cooper, Memphis Cooper, Rhett Hopkins and Colton Hopkins; three brothers, Kenneth Wilson, Gene Wilson and David Wilson and a sister, Nita Wilson. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert and Charlcy Overman Wilson, a sister, Patricia Wilson and two brothers, Tommy and Wayne Wilson. A funeral service will be held at 12pm on Thursday July 25, 2024 in the McClure Funeral Chapel in Mebane.  The family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home from 11am-12pm prior to the service.  Interment will follow in Mebane Memorial Gardens.
